Falklands Skeptical over Argentina's Flights Offer

Argentina's President Cristina Fernandez said that she wants to renegotiate an accord with Britain that allows a weekly flight by a Chilean carrier to the Falkland Islands. Fernandez proposed that the state-run Aerolineas Argentinas should operate the route instead. Britain has said that the flights issue is for the Falklands government to decide. The issue has raised speculation over future commercial flights to the Falklands, which pass through Argentine air space.
