EU - Israel Aviation Agreement: Israel Joins Europe in Aviation

Israel and the European Union have finalized a comprehensive aviation agreement that replaces bilateral air service agreements between Israel and all EU Member States. The agreement allows all EU airlines to operate direct flights to Israel and from anywhere in the EU. Israeli carriers are allowed to operate flights to destinations throughout the EU. The gradual opening of the EU-Israel air transport market will be fully open by the summer of 2017.
